RULES FOR FIRE AND AMBULANCE HALL

RENTAL USE

• Inspection of the facility by the caretaker and renter will be done before and after use to explain permitted activities and to check for any possible damage done by the renter.
• Any person or group wishing to use the hall will contact the Caretakers two to three weeks prior to scheduled use to assure a date.
• A deposit of 50% of the proper group rate schedule for the renter will be paid at the time of scheduling. This will insure confirmation of the requested date.
• A one week notice must be made prior to scheduled date of a cancellation for a return of the deposit. If a one week's notice is not given there will be no return of the deposit. **Exception to this rule is severe weather conditions (i.e. SNOW)**
• Renter must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age and will be responsible for the supervision and/or physical damage and clean-up of the facility.
• NO nails or thumb tacks are to be used on the walls and/or ceiling for attaching decorations. Scotch tape only is acceptable.
• Renter is to remove any garbage and all decoration are to be taken down at the conclusion of the scheduled event.
• Kitchen use will require all equipment used to be cleaned and put back in storage. Tables and chairs will be cleaned. Any possible spills are to be cleaned up. We ask that the renter use EXTREME caution to protect the counter tops in the kitchen and the table tops. NO direct cutting on and/or setting HOT items on the counter tops or the table tops. The automatic dishwasher will be off-limits to the renters!
• All lights must be turned off before leaving the building. Thermostats for heating/cooling systems must be left alone and will be controlled by the Caretakers.
• Maintenance fee will cover general clean-up such as: Sweeping, Mopping, Replacement of Restroom paper goods, and Laundering the linens used in the kitchen area.
• Renter will be responsible for the cost of repair and/or replacement of anything lost or damaged in our facility.
• The Tri-Town Fire and Ambulance Company will NOT be held responsible for any accidental or deliberate acts resulting in personal injuries while using our facility.
• The Tri-Town Fire and Ambulance Company reserves the right to deny any person and/or group the use of the facility if your intended use is determined, at the sole discretion of the Tri-Town Fire and Ambulance Company, to be detrimental to our community. If you have a history of damage in the past and/or if there has been non-payment of rent in the past, we reserve the right to deny you and/or your group use of our Facility.
• The telephone may ONLY be used for local and emergency call. In case of an emergency, please dial 9-1-1.
• The renter will need to furnish basic items in the Kitchen such as: paper towels, foil, plastic wrap, napkins, coffee/tea and sugar/creamer supplies.
• Alcoholic products are allowed to be consumed be persons over twenty-one (21) years of age ONLY!!! ALL persons consuming such products are to be supervised by a responsible adult.
• The Truck Bay area will be locked during functions being held in our Facility and shall be off-limits to any non-members of the Tri-Town Fire and Ambulance Company.
• ***THIS HAS BEEN DESIGNATED AS A NON-SMOKING FACILITY***
• ***NO ROLLER SKATING/ROLLER BLADING ALLOWED IN THE BUILDING***
• The Fireman's Auxiliary will set the cost for use of the dishes and/or the roasters.
