At that time Chief 47-30 took command of operations on the B/C side of the building with Chief 47 taking command of operations on the A/D side of the structure. At that time there was heavy fire issuing from the area of the front door and windows as well as the rear of the structure. As Dept. 10 had not been recalled as the result in the change in the box assignment Engine 10-3 was directed to cover Station 47 and Ladder 10-9 was recalled.
